Class types and schedules
The center offers two types of classes: Mysore style and guided classes.
Mysore class:
Flexible schedule between 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, and Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Important: It doesn’t matter what time you arrive, and it doesn’t matter if you don’t have much time. What matters is your connection with yourself, being there for yourself, there is nothing else but you, wanting to take care of yourself and love yourself.
Guided class:
Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
I invite you to come and watch a Mysore class so you can see what it’s like, get to know us, familiarize yourself with the practice, and ask any questions you may have before deciding if it’s the right option for you.
Places are limited, which guarantees greater attention to the practitioner.
I encourage everyone to try and get to know the practice.
All my respect and love for the tradition of Ashtanga Yoga, wanting to genuinely share with devotion what I have received and experienced personally as a devotee of the practice.
It is a method that, when practiced with love, consistency, and respect, has no end.
“Be free” (Petri Raisanen)
“Practice, practice, practice, and everything will come” / “Surrender to the practice and you will have everything” (Sri K. Pattabhi Jois)
The Center’s distinctive values
Its pillars are humility, gratitude, and compassion.
The bond will be close, familiar, with communication and trust to evolve together.
Always willing to answer all questions with infinite generosity, to clarify and convey, as best as possible, the traditional form of Ashtanga Yoga.
We will cultivate patience, to encounter your true self.
We will sanctify every moment, be present, be aware of being present in every second, because once it has passed, it has passed, there is no going back in time, you have already lived it, and time passes too quickly to not want to be aware of it and enjoy it. We will work on controlling the mind.
I will teach you how to breathe, which is a key factor both in practice and in everyday life. Air is prana, vital energy; we need it to live. It is our primary nourishment, and depending on how we breathe, we obtain natural medicine for our lives.
